Nepal is one of the least developed countries in the world. Rural communities in Nepal depend on their natural environment for food, shelter, and income. When the environment is damaged and trees are cut down, those experiencing poverty are the first to feel the negative effects.
We are working with our tree planting partners to support poverty alleviation and environmental restoration across Nepal. We donate to 3 distinct regions across the country, including a partnership with Chitwan National Park, a World Heritage Site in Nepal. By partnering with the National Park system, we alongside our tree planting partners, help protect and create a reforested zone vital to protecting animal habitat.
